“This week Prof. Enrico Bocci, GICO scientific Coordinator, flew to Brussels to participate in the 11th Stakeholder Plenary Meeting for #ETIPBioenergy, the European Technology and Innovation Platform Bioenergy.
During the day, discussions revolved around next-generation technologies and research and innovation requirements. This was achieved by introducing the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (#SRIA2023) and highlighting various prominent EU projects within the domains of #bioenergy and #renewableenergies.
Furthermore, insights were shared regarding the societal embrace of #bioenergy, with lessons gleaned from Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, and Sweden. Additionally, deliberations on the future of #RES in the context of the European Union’s #decarbonization target took place.”
